I second this! And I was literally going to ask this EXACT question. I actually use hypervue and a PAIR of i7s to render many of my vue scenes, and I still have very exensive render times. Please share the render settings used -- it would be nice to render ANYTHING of this quality in Vue in 5 minutes.
Interesting formation, I think the use of torii in there still remains a bit obvious, perhaps the scale of the bump-functions could be bigger to distort the shape of it more. Then again I've only done this with displacement - hypertextures I never touch since they seem slow and crash-prone on my comp
Haha ! Thanks... I think the scale of the function must be medium... ( 4.50 ) . If I will put that on 10 this is will appear too distort... To render this i converted the metablob object to polygons... It is faster
